A free zombie horde game where you are the horde
Most zombie games make you run from the horde. Bonewake flips it: you are a necromancer in a moonlit graveyard, and every villager, knight, archer and priest who falls can rise again to fight for you. Build a shambling undead army, wave after wave, right in your browser.

How the horde works
Enemies drop corpses. Hold right-click over them to raise every body inside your green circle as a minion, then hold left-click to rally your undead to the cursor. The bigger your horde, the longer you survive, but raising costs mana, so time it well.
Controls
- Move: your necromancer follows the mouse (or use WASD / arrow keys).
- Raise the dead: hold right-click over corpses to raise everything inside the green circle. It costs mana. Space or E works too, for trackpads.
- Rally: hold left-click to send your minions to the cursor.
- Death Bolt: you fire homing bolts at the nearest foe automatically.
- Souls: collect purple souls for XP, level up and pick one of three dark gifts.
- P / Esc pauses, M mutes.
Waves get harder
Waves start with villagers carrying pitchforks, then add knights, archers and priests who banish the undead. Every fifth wave a Champion of the Light arrives. Survive, collect souls, and turn each fallen enemy into one more soldier for your horde.
Dark gifts
Each level up offers three dark gifts. A few favourites:
- Legion: +4 max minions
- Corpse Bomb: minions explode when they fall
- Soul Leech: minion kills heal you
- Grave Reach, Bone Edge, Frenzy, Iron Marrow, Undying, Mana Well, Blood Pact, Thrifty Rites and more
